Operations with ETH will be suspended during Constantinople fork

The updating of one of the most followed crypto projects is arriving to the ecosystem in less than a week. In Panda Exchange, we support the innovation marked by the development of new technologies and the permanent evolution of this environment’s big projects.
Being part of the Ethereum updates, its next hardfork, named Constantinople, is programmed to appear in block 7.080.000, and it is predicted to happen on Wednesday, January 16th 2019. Just like every updating in an important network, this will be a new milestone in this project development and it will make changes in order to improve its usefulness.
Ethereum is an important part of our platform because it can be found in many currency pairs, and we would like to point out that Panda Exchange will make every technical change that ether users need in their accounts
A temporary suspension of deposits and withdrawals
Panda Exchange will suspend deposits and withdrawals of ETH and every listed ERC-20 token 6 hours before the fork, then they will be available as soon as the networks is stabilized once again.
This network’s overall view tends to have just one direction, for that reason this fork is not expected to create new assets. In case this updating brings new criptoassets in different chains, Panda Exchange will not support them in its platform.
In case you want to be in total control of your ETH and ERC-20 tokens during this event, we recommend you to take into account our advice in order to let every user take the necessary precautions depending on their intentions during Constantinople arrival.
Panda Exchange perspective is still to provide a safe, friendly and fast environment to exchange cryptoassets, and we invite you to be aware after the hardfork to know the moment to resume normal operations with ETH in our platform.
