Pandayield — Weekly Digest 21/02/14

Welcome to the first issue of our Weekly Digest. It is the place for you to get all of the most important information coming from Pandayield. You can mute Telegram, and you can unfollow Pandayield on Twitter, close your Reddit account, but you should never miss a single Weekly Digest.

The purpose of this weekly digest is to be completely transparent with our community and to centralize all of the essential information, the ones you don’t want to miss. It is also a way for us to document our journey together and see how far we’ve come when we will look back.

What happened this week?

The biggest thing that happened the past week is definitely the release of the Pandayield.com V2. We got a contract bug exploitation that forces us to shift our plan to release a V2. The platform is now safe, secure, and just better in general. We did a swap/airdrop of the new token called BBOO to Bamboo Holders, which was successfully completed. Now the Bamboo token belongs to the past… (We advise you to not buy Bamboo but BBOO instead).

The second most significant thing is the distribution of the PLOV and the Bamboo forest opening. More precisely, the first pool of the Bamboo forest. The PLOV is part of the Limited Edition Panda Token that we plan to release from time to time through sell, contest, event, etc. The idea is to make the platform more dynamic with some gamification and extra reward for our community.

Update: there are still 81 PLOVs missing in the forest, so hurry up, belated!

We are also proud to announce that we’ve reached an agreement with Certik this week. They will handle the smart contract audit, but it will only start on February the 23rd.

Thanks to the unity of the whole Panda community effort, Coingecko changed our data on their platform.

We are still waiting for Coinmarketcap to change our data which could happen on Monday the 15th February.

Roadmap

We know the community is waiting for the roadmap. It’s already prepared but because of some circumstances, it isn’t released yet. However, what we can assure you is that we are following the roadmap.

Imminent release:

• Personalized profile for the user
• Detailed dashboard for the user
• Homepage complete info
• Change in the voting system

Burning token

As you may have noticed, we haven’t started the Token Burning. We decided to put the available amount of BBOO into the PLOV pool.

We will start the token burning in a couple of days. We are actually working on a lottery system that will be slightly different from what you have seen up to now in the Yield Farming area, which is why it needs a little bit more time and tests to make it safe and bug-free.

We are also brainstorming on other burning mechanisms that will be focused on interesting burning-incentives. (Ex: Limited Edition Panda Token — burning requirement to acquire one)

Governance

This week we have seen one of our beloved community member using the voting feature to propose changes and updates. We invite all of our Panda Lover to head here to participate in the Pandayield governance.

The Pandayield team needs to hear your concern, your proposals, and your suggestions. For that, we need you to go and propose/vote.

For now, the system works in the way that the user has to unstake his BBOO token to be able to vote. However, if the poll has opened before the user unstakes then the votingpower will be too low to vote. We are changing that as we understand that it is a burden to our community.

Next week action

Our team members will start the partnership proposals by the beginning of next week.

We know that our community wants us to get listed on Beefy, Jetfuel, and Autofarm. As of now, it will be a little bit complicated for us to talk to Beefy. We want the smart contract to be audited first, and then we will reach out to Beefy. We will reach out to Autofarm and Jetfuel first.

We are also going for Trust Wallet listing this week.
