Hello Panda Lovers!

First of all, we would like to apologize for not being around much this past week. We know that it seems like we were abandoning the project, but that’s not the case at all.

We are sorry for making you anxious with Pandayield.

We’ve always been transparent with you, and our work ethic is built on transparency.

What happened this week?

We’ve started the week on a pretty good path, with one of the lotteries almost finished. We were starting with its design. Why the need for a design anyway? Well, if you’ve followed us closely, you should know that we love design (see Greenpaper style). The lottery isn’t just a lottery; it has a name — Racing Panda. So you see where we are going with it, right?

Then our CTO and founder aka thecutepanda got sick. We can’t disclose too much about his health condition. But rest assured, it isn’t something too tragic. He had to be admitted into a hospital though.

He will be back on his feet in few days. However, he is still tired and can’t be near a keyboard or a screen. His health condition deeply affected the whole team, and we stopped everything as we were focused on the head dev’s health. We waited for doctors’ reports and monitored the CTO’s health, that was our primary focus the past week.

He is well aware of Pandayield’s condition, and he is already very sad about letting Pandayield and the community without any good news this week. We ask for your understanding and patience. If you’ve followed the team closely, you know how fast the devs team can work. So once he is back on his feet, there will be updates’ rain. Even if he can’t move too much now, his brain is still working hard.

You’re definitely questioning why the other dev isn’t releasing updates. Well, our CTO is one very meticulous perfectionist person. He is the one who does most of what you see on Pandayield and codes as fast as the light speed. Basically, he wants everything to be perfect and can only trust his eyes. AND as the saying goes:

A snake without a head, can’t move forward

Next week plan

The rest of the team got into an emergency call. A little late (sorry for that), but our CTO’s health was the priority.

Our dev team decided to postpone all the upcoming updates. It’s not that IT WON’T release; it’s only a delay. We are also sad about the decision, but we can’t help it.

We have to postpone:

  • Lottery 1
  • Lottery 2
  • UI/UX staging
  • Limited Edition Panda Token Pool
  • IFO/IDO (supposed to be released after the lotteries)

So we decided to change a little bit of the plan. As for the development part, we can’t do too much now, so we are shifting to full marketing. Initially, we wanted to go full marketing after the first lottery release, but we will go for it now. However, we won’t go for A-list influencers; we will go for B/C-list and keep the A-list later. It’s simply because our CTO wanted the platform to change UI/UX and make it more dynamic and interactive before going for the A-list and Cointelegraph ad.

Here is our following week schedule

Governance

Even if the CTO can’t work right now to implement the proposal, we’ve prepared a proposal table to track and discuss all of them. While he is not in a condition to code, the community should drop tons of suggestions and ideas proposal poll. He will use this time away from the keyboard to brainstorm all of the ideas. Click on the link below to launch your proposal.

However, we ask for the community to not bother him on Telegram as he shouldn’t be near a screen right now. He will answer when he’ll get much better. The more he rests, the faster he’ll be back. As of now, the doctor recommended at least one more week of rest.

Small reminder

Just as the community, we want this project to be ultra successful. So to say that we are abandoning doesn’t make sense at all. The thing we noticed is by blaming the team you aren’t helping Pandayield. Let’s turn the fud and the blame into something constructive. We are one part of Pandayield, but you are also a part of it. Instead of finding a culprit, let’s use this energy to promote wide and far…

Also in any project, there are ups and downs. We got our ups, we are facing a down moment, but nothing better than a down to learn and to get out of it stronger and better. It’s just bad timing, meaning that good timing is coming. (Remember we told you that everything is impermanent when there is a down there will be an up after)

As our CTO always tells us:

“it’s about timing”

We are not telling you to stick with us if you don’t feel like sticking with us. But in NO CASE, we are abandoning Pandayield. So the best for those who leave the ship now is to come back later and jump on the ship again. Just don’t come to bash and spread negativity when there is no need for that, and actually not helping to move forward.

Once again, we would like to thank you for your understanding and patience. Sorry for the trouble, and let’s all keep on fighting hard for Pandayield!
