This publication is a mashup of the work and thinking we've been doing at Mizzou in Spring 2022 about infection and invasion within a course about plagues, zombies, & apocalypse in film. We've been working to understand how classic narratives of infection become mobilized in modern media to explore how horror encodes cultural fears and how monsters are always a story about something else.

This publication is the cumulative, end of semester storyboard for the thinking we've done together, and is a place for students in Film Studies and French to showcase their thinking and work in their final projects for French 3001/Film Studies 3861.
