A Letter from the Editor, First Edition

Dear Reader,
I am delighted to announce the first edition of this publication, Pandora Magazine: discussing culture, current events and personal experiences through the lens of intersectional feminism.
We are devoted to publishing quality articles, and hope to do so with nuance, which is why Pandora will only be publishing monthly, sent out on the very last day of each month. There are a small group of staff writers, whose pseudonyms you will see cropping up time and again, and there are and will be spaces for guest writers.
Taking inspiration from other brilliant publications, we have several slots open monthly for submissions we believe adhere to and promote the ethos of Pandora. Initial submissions outlining prospective articles are welcome at hello@pandoramagazine.co.uk, but we will try to read articles submitted to us directly on Medium — though those discussed through emails will have priority.
“Strengthen the female mind by enlarging it,” said Mary Wollstonecraft: “and there will be an end to blind obedience.” In this spirit, we seek articles that examine the world around us and beyond the boundaries of our own experiences.
It is that which makes us unique that we seek to discover.
