ENTER2020 — University of Surrey — UK — (Jan 9th)

Steve Worswick will be giving his first public appearance of the year on Thursday at the ENTER2020 conference. He will be giving a short presentation and appearing on a panel discussing using chatbots in the travel industry at the University of Surrey.

CES 2020 — Las Vegas (January 6th)

Lauren Kunze (CEO of Pandorabots) — will be appearing at CES Las Vegas next week. Catch her on Monday at 1pm where she will be speaking in the Artificial Intelligence — All Industry Integration session.

Futuras In Res — Berlin (November 21st — 22nd)

Steve is both presenting and also appearing on a panel discussion in Berlin in November. Under the umbrella title of “What’s the IQ of AI”, Steve is featured in the artificial communication section of the event discussing whether chatbots can really understand us?

AI & Robotics — London (October 31st 2019)

Steve is presenting at the AI & Robotics conference in London this Halloween. Don’t be “spooked” by the unbelievable over hyped claims of AI. Come hear the truth from someone who’s been in the business for nearly 15 years.

Scaletech Conference— Toronto (Oct 23 2019)

TEDx — San Francisco (Oct 3 2019)

Lauren will be giving a TEDx talk in San Francisco on October 3rd. Come along to hear some amazing insights on how humans interact with chatbots.

Loebener Prize — Swansea, Wales (Sep 12–15 2019)

This Thursday through Sunday (September 12–15), Steve Worswick will be at Swansea University Computational Foundry for AISB. This year’s event incorporates the Loebner Prize — the world’s longest running AI Turing test — and a Friday open house for businesses interested in bots.

Pandorabots’ Mitsuku, which has been widely recognized as the best open-domain conversational AI in top tier press like Wired, NYT Magazine, and Radiolab, will compete for a record-breaking fifth Turing Test win.

CogX — London (June 10–12 2019)

Both Lauren and Steve are speaking at the upcoming CogX festival in London. Pandorabots has also been nominated for an award, so fingers crossed!

AI and Big Data Expo — London (April 26 2019)

Lauren has a busy schedule as she delivers a keynote on how to build enterprise grade chatbots and also appears on a panel discussing chatbots in business.

Strata — San Francisco (March 28 2019)

Lauren will be keynoting at the Strata Data Conference later this month. She will discuss what 60 billion chatlogs says about human nature and our interactions with chatbots.

Steve was invited to keynote at the internal training sessions for the technical department of the BBC. He discussed the technical side of how Mitsuku works and what goes on under the hood.

SXSW — Austin, Texas (March 10 2019)

Join Lauren Kunze in March at SXSW, as she takes part in a panel discussion on how we can control what bots learn, especially when using internet sources such as Reddit or Twitter as training sources. Also, why are most chatbots female?

QCon — London, England (6th March 2019)

Steve explained how he developed Mitsuku to be an ethical product. How does he deal with users who want a romantic relationship with Mitsuku or those who talk to the bot about suicide and other sensitive subjects?

Strauhof — Zurich, Switzerland (12th and 13th January 2019)

Steve appeared at the Strauhof Museum in Zurich on the 12th and 13th of January, as part of the closing weekend of an exhibition celebrating the 200th anniversary of Frankenstein.

MetroCon — Fort Worth, Texas (11.7.2018)

VentureBeat AI Summit — California (10.23.2018)

Lauren Kunze recently appeared at the VB AI Summit in two roles. She facilitated a panel session discussing “Mastering Deployment” with panelists from Trulia, Intel and Dell. Representatives from Google, Salesforce, and Facebook were also in attendance and they talked about challenges and best practices to deploying AI in production.

Lauren also interviewed Andrew Siemion from Berkeley about SETI, which is a project to detect alien life!

Sheffield Machine Learning — England (9.18.2018)

Steve will be presenting Mitsuku to the Sheffield Machine Learning meetup on 18th September. He might even bring along a Loebner Prize for you to see!

Mobile World Congress — Los Angeles (9.14.2018)

The CEO of Pandorabots, Lauren Kunze, will be appearing on a panel discussion entitled Consumers and Natural Language Interfaces at MWC.

Pandorabots had the pleasure of moderating an amazing group of panelists at the French Tech Hub from IBM, Facebook, Ebay, and Winnovation during a deep dive on the current and future state of the chatbot industry.

VentureBeat AI Summit (10.24.2017)

This amazing and intimate executive series curated by VentureBeat started off with a round table discussion on Customer Engagement led by Pandorabots, IBM Watson, and Microsoft. Then, later in the day, Lauren sat down with Stewart Rogers and Jana Eggers of Nara Logics for the AI Expert discussion after glimpsing the future from some very promising startups in the space.

VentureBeat throws some of the best events. MobileBeat 2017 was a whirlwind. On day one, during a fireside chat with Coca-Cola, we were thrilled to announce some exciting projects underway with the brand.

At Lauren’s talk in NYC, we dug deep on why Customer Service chatbots often fail, as well as what is working with some real customer examples and KPIs.
