Rent Sons Design Competition

At Pangea.app, we’re super excited to support a growing number of startups who want to work with students (Pangeans).

One of these incredible startups is Rent Sons

Rent Sons started as a small-town Little Compton RI business for a URI college student that now is $1M+ in revenue with 5000 clients in 8 locations across RI, MA and Charleston, SC with plans to grow nationwide. They are constantly posting for graphic designers, developers, videographers, photographers etc. In addition, they are hiring Sons/Daughters. (What the heck is that?).

A little bit of a strange name; however, what they are trying to do is something truly special in today’s world. The idea is simple: young adults serving the neighbors of their community for an hourly rate. That includes landscaping, painting, moving, junk removal, event assistance or simply a helping hand. It’s a lot of the manual work that isn’t our focus at Pangea.app, but is something many of our users can jump on!

As friends of Rent Sons, we encourage you to apply for Rent Sons to be a Son/Daughter, especially for snow shoveling this winter (paying $20/h!)

We had about a dozen Pangians jump on to make extra money last year shoveling their neighbors out. If you want to make $20/h shoveling driveways, apply through the post on the app and we will get you set up!

Pangea.app has TONS of talented students and we want to find someone to help Rent Sons design a small clothing brand.

This particular “project” is being offered as a competition open to every Pangean.

Pangeans who want to compete will submit designs for a hat, t-shirt, and sweatshirt.

The top 3 chosen will receive $50. The winner will receive $300.
