Bramayugam — REVIEW 4.5*
- NIRAJAN RIJAL
Visually, “Brāmayugam” is a feast for the eyes, boasting superb cinematography. Every frame is meticulously composed, capturing the beauty of the landscapes and enriching the storytelling. The attention to detail is apparent, creating an immersive and awe-inspiring world.
“Brāmayugam” also stands out for its bold genre exploration, offering audiences a fresh and innovative experience in Malayalam cinema. It challenges norms and extends storytelling boundaries, leaving a lasting impact on viewers. This movie is originally Malayalam but available in other language too like Telugu & Hindi. Leading the charge in “Brāmayugam” is its remarkable cast. The legendary Mammootty delivers a mesmerizing performance, with Arjun and Sidharth offering equally impressive portrayals. Each actor infuses their character with depth and nuance, lifting the film to extraordinary levels.
Complementing its visual excellence, the film excels in sound design. From subtle background noises to a powerful musical score, every sound element enhances the overall atmosphere, drawing viewers further into its captivating narrative. Also, Movie provides some historical information of Hindu Folk stories and Facts like about Yakshi — Yakshi is typically a female demon. Also, there is concept of Kacha Kalwa (Type of Ghost and according to tantric Shadna — there is Kacha Kalwa Shadna too). I cannot talk much about this.
But overall movie is Excellent for Thriller Lovers.
