Thinkers are the curious minds, often have an open mind. Their brain is full of ideas, I’d say wonderful ideas, which are original and one of a kind. They have the ability to think out of the box and analyze their surrounding. They have keen attention to the details and have a hunger to learn more.

Unfortunately, many thinkers don’t have the guts and can be seen hesitating to approach a particular thing. Though they have many incredible ideas, concepts that can add a boost to their careers, often thinkers can be observed to be shy and afraid to put their ideas into practice. A thinker can be found full of excuses to defend why they are not ready and procrastinating the practical implementation of the idea.

Thinkers tend to think more of the cons of a situation and be hesitant to leave the comfort zone and jump into the ocean of the unknown. Thinkers are more aware of where things can go wrong, which forces them to weigh their feet before stepping forward. Thinkers often wait for the right opportunity to pitch-in, which happens very rarely.

Hence, they never had the courage to take a shot with their ideas and successfully turn them into an accomplishment to be proud of.

The doer is brave, hard-working, hard to break, and generally happier than the thinkers. The doer has the swing to get things done but often loses the sense of direction or often makes wrong moves, making it much harder to achieve their goals.

The thinkers are known to be more focused and having strong concentration. Whereas, the doer can easily get distracted and end up wandering off the path. Doer will take chances against all odds and even the fate hits them at the face, they will keep moving forward no matter what.

The world can be vaguely divided being thinkers and doers. There are very few who own both qualities, the top 5% of the world population whom the world admires the most. So, in order to taste the delicious dish of success, you need to have the brain of a thinker but you should also carry the courage and guts of a doer.

Eventually, you will have great ideas flowing through your mind, you’ll also form strategies to support your ideas. With the courage of a doer, you will be persistent, tough, and valorous enough to judge the plausibility and obstacles in your pathway.

The fine balance of heart & mind, work & play is needed to stay grounded in life. If you realize you are either a thinker or a doer, know that it is possible to balance out your qualities.

It will take time to break bad habits like most things, but, I bet, it will be worth it.
