so where were you?

Forgive me for asking, but where were you last Friday? To be more specific, between 6:30pm and 10:30pm. Ok, let’s assume you were occupied with other important (hopefully) stuff. However, you also happened to miss out on the 2nd edition of Building Things for Nigeria event.

What exactly did you miss out on?

  • Opportunity to meet Nigerian Makers – like Kankemwa who’s a co-founder of icomic app or Tolu ADT who’s not just the convener of building for Nigeria, but co-founded Eclectic and 3percent, to mention a few people.
  • Interesting people invariably leads to interesting conversations and insights e.g Ozo speaking freely about his ‘less than satisfactory outcomes’ (worked on Ribadu’s campaign) and ‘successes’ (two startups he’s involved in). Or Biola sharing 1st hand experience of bringing Maryland Mall to life.
  • Opportunity to demo your ‘baby’ to peers – absolutely no pressure to do so, but if you love to pitch your startup, then a super engaged audience of nerds is the right place for you.

Sounds like your kind of thing? Then you’re in luck, as we’ve got an event planned for September. All you need to do is register here – so you don’t miss out again. See you soon!

P.S you can read a recap of the maiden event right here. And if you’ve been looking for such an event/gathering, hence super delighted to find this and will consider playing an active part – reach out to Tolu ADT .
