Sometimes, it’s indeed the little things that matter most.

This especially applies to small business owners and their relationship with ‘Reports‘. They are naturally very busy people, yet want to be kept informed of what’s happening in their business. Having reports is a good way to know what’s really going on.

The tricky bit and here’s where the ‘little things matter’ comes in — they don’t want to be consumed with details. So for a store owner, the key information they need to know will likely be: how much have I sold today? Did I run out of my best sellers? Etc.

So we thought — what would be super helpful is to give them, just the crucial information they require to know the health of their business on a regular basis. That’s why we built PrognoStore Power Reports.

What’s PrognoStore Power Reports?

It’s a daily or weekly (your choice) email with 3 data points included from your store: what you sold, how much you made and your highest sales item. It’s that simple. See below:

Easy to digest from a mobile…

Things we considered before implementing:

  • It had to be a genuinely simple report with numbers — no clutter or fluff. One glance should be all that’s required from the business owner.
  • We didn’t want to spam our customers. So it was super important for us to provide the ability for recipients to determine the frequency of the reports and if they so wish; unsubscribe.
  • We also had an interesting debate to decide what metrics are undisputed top 3 to be displayed. I’m sure there will be a lot of feedback to consider.

If you’re a store owner or know one, trust me on this — they would be glad to have this email every morning. So do them a favour, tell them to start using PrognoStore today.

P.S we also catered to those of you that love details — we completely revamped our reports and added new designs. Now you can dive in to see Sales Charts, Sales lists, improved date filters etc. Enjoy!

P.P.S we’re looking for a designer — if you’re one and working on enterprise products is your thing, please feel free to reach out to me.We’re hiring.
