All That & All Those
Lost & locked in time
That connection at that mystical moment…
That smile and laughter on our conversations…
That incredible beauty and kindness in you…
That tear of joy and feeling of true affinity…
That first touch and enveloping embrace…
That inebriating perfume and warm glance…
That first kiss and sweet taste of your lips…
That first hand-in-hand, timid and sweaty…
That soft skin and hard body under my hand…
That tush so firm and round in my lap…
Those lavishing kisses and thick lips…
Those sexual innuendos and insinuating looks…
Those pink and purple dreams…
Those deep and arousing sensations…
Those bewildering moans…
Those shared dreams, and divided fears…
Those tender moments in each other company…
Those conquered goals and frustrating promises…
All That and all Those I wish I could take from Time
and make this vacuum and these tears disappear.
I know you are gone and with you all That and all Those…
Time is the vault that no one can break
and also my incarcerator in these 4 walls
of silence, misery, loneliness and angst.
I'm here, waiting for him to be spent
and finally allow me to leave his prison,
to once again crazily breathe
the air of love and happiness.
This is Part II of my 3-part poetry series, Locked In Time.
