Placed in the stars by Athena after your death
to be immortalised forever, our princess in the stars.
Ptolemy found you, dear Andromeda,
revealing to us your constellation beauty to admire.

Beside you, Perseus your saviour who killed
Poseidon’s sea monster Cetus, releasing you
from your sacrificial chains abating Poseidon’s wrath
setting you free to become husband and wife
ruling Tyrins bearing seven sons and two daughters.

You share your brightest star Alpha Andromadae
With the mighty horse Pegasus
While gamma Andromadae’s colourful binary star
Is popular with us amateur stargazers.

Nurturing the Blue snowball planetary nebula
Inviting us to look through our telescopes,
Beta Andromadae, your red gas giant seduces the naked eye.

Attention enticed toward the “great galaxy of Andromeda”,
the closest spiral galaxy to the milky way
containing over a trillion stars holding our fascination!

Your stunning legend affirmed for us to experience dear Andromeda,
night after night we are seduced by your beauty
our companion our wonder our celestial princess.

Thank you as always Suntonu Bhadra for giving my words a platform. 🙏
Thank you all for reading and your precious time. Always. J. 🙏✨
