Roriferous: generating dew/Merriam-Webster
Coruscate: to give off light in bright beams, to sparkle/Merriam-Webster

Dawning
on me — my need
of a new way
to tackle today.

To manifest two definitions at once –
like an ice cream sandwich’s
luscious cocktail
of chocolate and vanilla
or a blank wall
losing ground to time-lapse
surround-bounds
of Virginia creeper.

To reflect
the rainbow spaces
between each letter –
resurrecting dewdrops
from enlightenment’s pouring.
My gasps at rock bottom
scarcely rippling Spirit’s lake.

To place these words
like duo, non-dual, rarely dueling
diamond studs
at the tip of our wick tongues.
You and I — waxing
in eloquent perpetuity
