An abstract image resembling a close-up of a splash of water rendered in a spectrum of bright colours against a golden background. The words ‘Deja Vu at Paper Poetry’ are superimposed over the image. A small square logo of an origami bird with the words, ‘Paper Poetry and notes’, is in the bottom right-hand corner.

“Welcome to Déjà Vu at Paper Poetry
It’s our weekly prompts rerun
Fourteen themes done so far
A second chance for having fun”

Yay! It’s Déjà Vu at Paper Poetry! And everyone is invited to join the fun.

We’ve had a wonderful response to our first series of weekly prompts. So wonderful that we’ve decided to run them again! Déjà Vu for you. 😊

For the next two weeks you’ll have the opportunity to submit poetry for any — or all — of the fourteen weekly prompts we’ve run so far this year. That’s a prompt a day!

This is your chance to respond to a prompt you missed, or to give a prompt you’ve already done a second go — or a third, if déjà vu keeps bringing you back for more!

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves — first, please applaud the talented poets who participated in Paper Poetry’s Week 14 prompt: wings. Here they are with their inspiring words for your enjoyment and appreciation –

🦅 Well-Equipped — by Dr. Fatima Imam
🦅 Birds of Mariupol — by Carolyn Hastings
🦅 Flights of Fancy — by Raine Lore
🦅 Winged Promise — by Dennett
🦅 Spring Dreams — by Dana Sanford
