I Am Bound
A tribute poem to Kabir’s, I Won’t Come
I am bound
I am free
I am rich
I am poor
I’ll keep seeking
my truth
and hold myself
to it
I’m thimble
and I’m fountain
I’m robin
and I’m egret
I’m water
and I’m honey
I’m saved
and I’m blessed
I’m lamb
and I’m crook
I’m shepherd
and I’m grace
I’m whole
says I
I’m amidst the mourning
and the chosen
