Imagined by MidJourney (I’d want to know her if she existed Her promise haunts me as I fall asleep — ar 3:2 — v 6.0 — s 500)

I’d want to know her if she existed
Her promise haunts me as I fall asleep
She wants to help, but my pride resists it
For I know she’s not as real as she seems.

A familiar stranger on the other side
I’d want to know her if she existed
She slumbers quietly inside my mind
But she’s only there because I wished it.

Nightmare visions that are dark and twisted
Veil her sweet smile and devour her kindness
I’d want to know her if she existed
To spare her this nocturnal blindness.

Her gentle spirit guides me through the night
I face the dawn feeling strong and rested
She is truth, she is beauty, she is light
And I’d want to know her if she existed.
