Like sunlight on a spring day,
like the light of eternal stars; is your gaze.
Like a cold breeze on a warm day,
I hope to see you again.
Like a breath of fresh air,
like the sound of pouring rain,
like the smell of washed land,
you’ve taken my heart again.
Dreaming of spending my life,
looking at your lovely eyes.
My days go by in a haze,
as I wait for you by the window again.
You’ve gone very far away they say,
waiting is a little harder everyday.
What if you don’t come?
The thought scares me some days.
But what if you don’t?
Waiting for you,
is just as beautiful
