Olives are beautiful, tempting
Alluring enough to eat right after falling
from the tree!

Looks are deceptive, oh! imbecile
fresh Olive is bitter, inedible, a thing so vile.

Olive first is crushed
and oil expressed
Outer beauty subdues,
and inner strength manifests
Adversity moulds it into the best

Olive is sacred
Olive for long has been an emblem
of hope, peace, and wisdom

Olive tree can withstand disaster
drought, famine, calamity and torture

and yet be fruitful for a century
Only if cared for properly
Only if cared for tenderly

Olive discerns, the droughts and floods are inevitable. Challenges make it strong, and impregnable
