Dark misty night,
red pompous dress.
Black carriage waiting —
patiently for me.

Afterlife was in the carriage
with a sudden smile
while he starred at the —
dark misty night.

I took his hand and
stepped into the carriage
while I raised my —
red pompous dress.

I look at Afterlife confused
he was in no haste,
the horses were motionless, the —
black carriage waiting.

“Emily, you are early,” he said,
“you still have years to come.”
“Will you wait —
patiently for me?”
