Snowflakes Settling Here, Hot Summer Somewhere
Paper Poetry Bi-Weekly Newsletter for the timeline of February 6— February 19, 2021
Hi Readers, writers, supporters, haters,
I hope all is well at your end. I hope you enjoyed the last bi-weekly newsletter, which covered incredible words and stories from excellent writers contributing to Paper Poetry.
Here at my place, when I am looking outside, the snowflakes were flying around yesterday, but today, it seems like the sun is smiling. It is winter here in Toronto, but it is summertime in many places of the world. Here, I’m looking into the ice-covered porch; somewhere else in the world, people are enjoying the sunny beachside.
The gist is, beauty is around us; we just have to find it.
It seems like we might have to live with the virus, like any other disease, so we should find ways to cope with the evolving scenario. We have to find our little piece of happiness every day, breathing in breathing out.

εὐδαιμονία (Eudaimonia) words
We are delighted to have fantastic content and stories on eudaimonia and seeing great enthusiasm for the prompt on both Paper Poetry and Literary Impulse. The prompt runs till March 15, so please sync your eudaimonia spirit with poetic words, or perhaps, the painted strokes on a diverse canvas.
Here goes the latest published content for the ‘eudaimonia’ prompt, published between February 6 to February 19.
My Journey From Happiness To Eudaimonia by Dr. Preeti Singh
Scripturient Scrolls by David Rudder

I will request our readers to explore beautiful content shared by our writers and encourage them with ‘comments/feedback/like’ on the story. Your encouraging words will motivate them to write more great stories, for sure.

AOE is looking forward to having submissions for their ‘Burnout’ prompt, mentioned in ‘Age of Empathy Call for #Burnout Submissions.’ Apart from the submission part, I loved the concept of taking a break from editing and publishing. Carolyn and Indubala, what do you think?
Also, look out for the February prompt of AOE, “February 2021 Age of Empathy Writing Prompt” and share your cheerful words for the prompt.
Poetry Series — ‘Ubuntu’
We have started our newest section, ‘Poetry Series,’ where Paper Poetry will be hosting a themed poetry series from a guest writer over four weeks. We are delighted to announce that James G Brennan, one of the fantastic poets in Medium, has agreed to join the initiative, writing on the ‘Ubuntu’ theme.
Please explore his 1st poem of the series, ‘Ubuntu Mbira.’
The next poem of the series is ‘Across Oceans of Hope,’ coming next week. Thank you, James, for your kind contribution and impressive words.
Thank you, Indubala, for proposing the theme for the series. She also described ubuntu in her story, ‘A Promising Dawn’; please check it out at your convenience.

Please immerse yourself in the wonderful words from our talented writers here at Paper Poetry.
