To plant a seed
is to believe in the future
to believe in the routine
nourishment
will bring about
the juicy fruition
of something
beautiful and healing
to behold.

The fruit that bears
the next generation
of change and healing.

A cycle that happens
regardless of the day to day
barriers.

Lucy (The Egg Girl) is planting a seed, figuratively and literally, because despite all of 2020’s events, she still believes in the future. She invites you to do the same, because actions, taken day in, day out, are the ones that make the biggest impact. She writes a variety of poetry including about her experiences with racism, a piece of kindness from a stranger, and love as a food metaphor. She is also truly inspired by Hope Coalesce’s seed and growth metaphor, as it guides some of her poetry, some of her daily morning journaling, and her daily choices.
