We Don’t Talk
A Poetry Series | Part 3 | Believe
Of everything said and done,
Times spent, memories made
Of screams and silences,
Loud and clear
You said -I said -We said,
Till we said no more
You won some, I won some
Only that we both lost
The stars still shine
The clouds burst into rain
The Earth goes around again,
As if nothing’s changed
They just don’t believe
We don’t talk anymore
This is the third part of a series I have been working on called ‘We don’t talk’. The idea is to explore the space where we go numb and put words, colour, and form to an emptiness called grief. This is to un-break and rise above everything weighing us down. This is also the first time I am trying a fiction series, so let me know your thoughts on this!
