Footprints

Featuring the forgotten beauty of a land left behind,

Footprints tells the story of a young woman discovering herself;

Through a series of self portraits.

Wandering the highlands of Abandoned Scotland,

she connects with the ghosts of her silenced past.

Feeling an unexplainable pull to the land.

Finding her way to the ruins calling her name,

She is entranced by the songs of the lochs,

Her heart longing for nothing more than the clan of her ancestors.

Echoes of sorrow find her soul;

as her bare feet feel the textures of cold hard stone beneath them.

A path many had walked before her.​

Consumed by a spiritual grasp to the land of the forgotten,

She sighs;

As she feels herself overwhelmed with closure,

When at last she has finally found her home.
