Wednesday

Started the week off with my weekly residency at St. Cloud Rooftop and the Knickerbocker Hotel. I play there every Wednesday. It’s a really cool space, kind of an oasis above the madness of Times Square. This week was especially busy because of the holiday season.

Thursday

I played at another one of my bi-weekly residencies, Plunge Rooftop at the Gansevoort in the meatpacking district. I’ve been playing there for about two years, so I’m able to have a lot of fun there and play what I want- whatever makes people dance! The crowd is super mixed, so I try to throw in a little something for everyone.

As a lifelong music aficionado, Kasey Berry has been turning heads since moving to New York City in 2011. She decided to parlay her passion into a career, greatly priding herself on her natural ear for music. Her musical expertise allows her to seamlessly integrate a multitude of genres into a single set. On any given night, partygoers may hear everything from Top 40 hits and house to indie dance, hip-hop, 90s, and classics.

Friday

Friday was a busy night for me. I spun an event for Ferrari early on- they were unveiling a new car and basically just wanted background music vibes, but it’s always cool to be involved with a high-end event like that. As soon as the event finished, I rushed back down to Meatpacking where I played the rest of the night at Troy Liquor Bar. I love playing hip hop, and at Troy that’s what I play almost entirely so even though it was a long night, it was really fun. Also had a few of my friends come by, which is always great.

Saturday

I finished off the week with an out of town gig in Harrisburg, PA at Level 2 Nightclub. I’ve played there a handful of times. Because their club scene is much smaller than New York, Level 2 is probably the biggest and most popular club out there. Their music format is mostly house music, which honestly isn’t my favorite but if the whole crowd is vibing to it then I can definitely get into it as well!

Sunday

And then I slept the entire day Sunday. That was my week in a nutshell!
