Our supermodel Nakisa, seen here holding a reflector, as we head over to our first shooting location.

Even though we all have our own roles, everybody pitches in to help!

Nakisa wearing her comfy shoes until we find the right spot and set the lighting.

Not only was this to prevent any damage to the designer shoes, our model couldn’t walk much in them anyways.

“The shoes didn’t fit because my feet were too small — the story of my life being a size 7”
— Nakisa

Nakisa, seen here wrapped in plastic — we brought the plastic as a potential prop, but instead used it to protect the leather garment during reapplication of hair products between takes.

Challenge. Tall Model, Short Hair Stylist.

Having to fix the hair outside when you are 5’0 and she is 5’10.

Then she puts on her 4” heels…

Our stylist Alyssa, seen here placing and tucking socks (yes, one of our crew members selflessly sacrificed their socks!) under the elbow, in order to prevent the dress from touching the stone.

Biggest challenge, and one of the funniest — was working with latex!

“Polymorphe made sure I had everything I needed to execute the right latex look: first I had to cover Nakisa in powder, then she had to carefully slip into the latex so as not to tear it, and finally I was given oil to apply for that wet-shine look. Another tricky feat was waiting 10 minutes for the oil to settle so as not to get it on the rest of the outfit — it was quite the process — especially when done in a public place so as to save time!”
