It all started with a single tweet and a mission to help others…
2020 has been impossible to predict, but its completely possible to progress. COVID-19 has put the world on pause. Many investors are pausing too, but some see this as an opportunity unlike any other. Domm’s tweet and the attention it garnered spawned Raising During COVID, a grassroots initiative to help drive innovation forward in spite of the pause.

Unprecedented challenges call for innovative solutions and hard times call for community support. Paperstreet was born to help founders effectively communicate and connect with investors across the world. When we found an opportunity to support this cause, we jumped. After seeing the enthusiasm around Raising During COVID, we reached out to see how we might be able to help — even if at a (social) distance.
Disruption is often a valued concept in our community, but the disruption caused by this pandemic and the associated lock-down was neither welcomed nor expected. But as Rocky told his son, “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!” That determined mindset of resiliency is a cornerstone of motivated, entrepreneurial minds and successful businesses.
This event will feature highly anticipated improvements to our virtual events product. We are so excited to showcase it for such a good cause!
