Hello and welcome to all Aragon fans and decentralization advocates! During these two weeks a lot of essential news considering Aragon appeared. The project has passed 600 organizations on mainnet! And the list of DAOs keeps endlessly increasing! Development is ongoing. Last week the team released Aragon 0.7.5 — a minor release with a few bug fixes. All Aragon Devs call #25 took place and notes are available in the Aragon Wiki. Aragon co-founders Luis Cuende and Jorge Izquierdo introduced their new ‘In Flight’ podcast and discussed the evolution of crypto since 2017, IEOs, blockchain fundraising, and decentralized infrastructure. Online workshop ‘DAO Crash Test’ took place. This time the team was focusing on the Aragon ecosystem and had a special guest — Luke Duncan researcher and core contributor. The team attended ‘Open 2019 Community Gathering — Decentralised Collaboration’ event in London and ‘Building an Unstoppable Organization with Aragon’ meetup in San Francisco. As for upcoming events, Aragon One CTO Jorge will be presenting on the latest work of Aragon research team at Dappcon in Berlin at the end of August. These weeks Autark was rebranding That Planning Suite to Open Enterprise, to reflect its evolution into a suite of apps for the general coordination of organizations. They’re targeting a soft-launch to mainnet during Q4 2019 and aim to expand the functionality of the existing suite (e.g. add support for bounties that aren’t connected to GitHub issues and for reviewers to get a percentage of the bounty), to enable new governance mechanisms (e.g. new voting patterns, dispute resolution, and vetoing), and to work on various initiatives that will support the Aragon ecosystem. New section on Aragon Black blog was introduced — VADE MECUM, the latin for «comes with me» and refers to a guide kept on you to register technical information. This section will be user-focused! The first article is about Aragon Fundraising and the return of the commons. Aragon Black Blog is also looking for fresh ideas and papers. So do not hesitate to contact the team. Time flies! Aragon Governance Proposals for Aragon Network Vote #3 are due in a week! You can find details about the upcoming vote, including important dates and instructions about how to submit your own proposal, in the Aragon Network Vote #3 Megathread in the forum. One more step towards decentralization! More to follow!

“The Founding Episode” of In Flight by Aragon One, a podcast about Aragon hosted by Luis Cuende and Jorge Izquierdo.
In this very first episode, hosts Luis and Jorge introduce the podcast and the motivations behind it. Then they chat about 2017 and how things have changed in the crypto ecosystem. They also touch on the topics of IEOs, blockchain fundraising, and infrastructure needed for true decentralization.
Luis Cuende @licuende on Jun 25:
I like having relaxed conversations with people in the Aragon ecosystem and the broader crypto space. Talking with almost no pre-defined script or a very strict filter results in new ideas or better ways to express already existing concepts
It will also help raise awareness about Aragon. You want to know what the Aragon Network is, without having to read papers and go through many forum threads? Listen to a podcast, and you will know it all
We will have guests who come by Zug, but we will also have remote guests. We have some hot episodes in the pipeline with @lkngtn @bingentxu @stellarmagnet @stefanobernardi @LuigiGrx. Looking forward to releasing more episodes!
June 27th-28th: OPEN 2019 Community Gathering — Decentralised Collaboration, Tech City College, London. An open space event designed to strengthen the network of communities and organisations that are working on building a collaborative, regenerative economy.
Phoebe Tickell @solarpunk_girl on Jun 28:
We have @MyPaoG from @AragonProject giving us a demo of current Aragon applications and governance. Thank you Maria! I think the potential for programmable organisations to bust implicit power asymmetries and force them into explicit form is very exciting.
June 28th, 2019: Aragon Crash Test Online Workshop, Berlin.
Online workshop “DAO Crash Test”, based on the ritual dissent technique 5 to spawn more idess, support and improve DAO concepts, Aragon Nest, Flock and Governance Proposals.
This 3rd workshop of this format (find reports first 1 and second 5 here). This time they was focusing on the Aragon ecosystem and having a special guest — Luke Duncan (@lkngtn) researcher and core contributor.
