With registrations beginning on October 27 and the official opening ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal, on November 11, get ready to take the decentralized web to the next level! Considering the Cosmos governance updates, Proposal 57 ‘Lowering Liquidity Pool Creation Fee’ has been rejected. Cosmos Proposal #58 is in the voting period. This signal proposal is to ask Atom stakers about adopting Budget and Farming modules on Cosmos Hub for general utility incentivization mechanism in near future. Don’t forget to vote!
As for the Cosmos ecosystem news: BSC Chapel Testnet is expected to undergo a hardfork upgrade on November 5. The IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) protocol has been enabled on Injective making the IBC Bridge officially live. BitSong is now IBC-enabled, bringing Cosmos interoperability and a brand new BTSG listing on Osmosis. Stargaze becomes the 20th Cosmos chain to enable IBC and join the Internet of Blockchains e-Money & Regen Network to collaborate to bootstrap liquidity on Osmosis DEX. The RND SDK team just released Cosmos SDK v0.44.3. Matt Damon and water.org partner with Crypto.com, bringing clean water to millions in need. The winners of the Filebase & Akash Hackathon have been announced. BandChain Phase 2 Proposal 5 is now live to enable the IBC token transfer feature. The file storage on Bluzelle is no longer in the soft mainnet status, but has been migrated to full mainnet. This is also linked to the support of numerous NFTs, of which some projects are currently being integrated into our file system. Following the upgrade of the Bytom 2.0 mainnet in August, Bytom once again ushered in a major upgrade, and the new Summoner Contract Language was officially released. TIBC has been introduced, the Terse Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol designed and built by Bianjie on the conceptual basis of the IBC protocol. IRISnet is about to upgrade with the integration of TIBC module and refactored NFT. In order to make sure the upgraded network remains stable and robust, IRISnet is launching the Bug Bounty Program IV as part of the mainnet upgrade preparation to timely find and fix potential issues with assistance from skilled developers. Bianjie, core dev team behind IRITA, has established a strategic partnership with Asia Digital Bank. As a core contributor to IRISnet and the Cosmos network, this month, we’re pleased to say we’re already making rapid progress! Asia Digital Bank Ltd. (Labuan Investment Bank) (Registration No. LL16434), (licensed Labuan Investment Bank) (License №200134BI)(AsiaDB), the first recipient of the Digital Banking license issued by Labuan Financial Services Authority in Malaysia and an innovative global digital asset operator, just announced a strategic partnership with Bianjie. AsiaDB, with Bianjie’s support, plans to build a new digital financial infrastructure that supports seamless integration of centralized and decentralized financial services.
Powered by Cosmos’ scalable, sovereign, interoperable blockchain stack, this new digital banking infrastructure will support the realization of a lawful self-service financial paradigm. - Kava 9 Is Coming: IBC and More: The Kava 9 mainnet upgrade is coming, and it’s bringing a number of exciting changes aimed at expanding the Kava Ecosystem by adding new ways for users and projects to bring their assets to Kava. Chief among these is the upgrade to version 44 of the Cosmos SDK, which will implement the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC).
