Also, there are private repositories (~100 private repositories on commercial GitHub).

Dragonchain CEO Joe Roets in Official Telegram group:
Dragonchain, Inc. began in 2017 and has been developing the enterprise and scalable platform on multiple private and proprietary repositories.
We’ve stated from the beginning that we intend to make the open source codebase network compatible with the commercial platform. We expect to do that sometime in 2019, and will involve an update to the open source codebase.

Use Cases & Challenges of Blockchain in the Gaming Industry

How to leverage blockchain in the gaming industry?

This past weekend, the largest celebration of gaming culture, PAX West, came to Seattle. The festival gathered thousands of gamers and industry experts to celebrate engaging video, tabletop, and arcade games. In celebration of PAX West, Dragonchain partnered with OnePiece Work to host a meetup on the first Friday of the event; exploring how blockchain technology is already revolutionizing the gaming industry. A panel of industry leaders shared their knowledge about the challenges today. And gave insights on what’s next for blockchain and gaming in the Pacific Northwest. They answered the questions, is gaming moving towards being an Olympic sport? Also, will blockchain keep up the scores and immutably record all match data?

The panel included:

  • Joe Roets, the CEO & Founder of Dragonchain.
  • Jon Bonazza, the Founder, CEO, and Technical Director at SummerPlay Games. Bonazza has been an avid gamer since he was young and has worked with Roets for several years.
  • James Mayo, the Founder of 8 Circuit Studios. Mayo has been in the gaming industry for 30 years before founding his company.
  • Gary Hall, the CTO of BitGamer and Co-Founder of Jag Solutions. Hall has spent over 20 years in the IT industry. A decade of which he worked at Cisco Systems, building their data centers worldwide, after which they automated the whole process. At BitGamer, Hall aims to bring a revolution to the gaming industry for all gamers through blockchain.
  • Danny Luedke, the Product Marketing Director at Dragonchain, moderated the panel.

Finance

Token holders and the number of transactions dynamics (from Etherscan.io):

There is a slight decrease in the number of token holders these weeks.

Information from Coinmarketcap.com:

A Snapshot of Current Dragon Net Statistics:

Dragonchain Team Token Distribution (TIME Burning):

Dragonchain has decided to redistribute Team holdings to a greater number of separate wallets.

In the process a large amount of TIME will burn, bringing the total TIME in existence down considerably. As a reminder, a total of 20% of all 433,494,437 Dragon tokens were set aside from the start for the Team.

Over 40 Billion (around 18% of current global amount) of TIME will burn due to this, up to 70 Million Dragon tokens will move.

These new wallets will form the basis of Team distribution over a 5 year lock period and will gain TIME from day zero to be used in an internal incentive program for employees to utilize their accrued TIME.

The addresses will remain under full control of Dragonchain, Inc. — it is not a direct transfer to employees/team members, and the Dragon transferred cannot be sold or exchanged within the period.

Expect to see transfers from the main Team held wallets beginning soon, as part of this redistribution.

If an employee leaves before they have completed their first year, they will not have any team tokens at all. For every additional year they stay with the company, their stake increases.

Roadmap

The first installment of the Dragonchain 2019 Roadmap:

Q2

  • Time Products — Marketplace listing
  • Marketplace — vendor enrollment features
  • DragonDen — launch
  • Patent — licensing standardization
  • Commercial Platform — expanded dashboard features
  • Privacy Products — Launch
  • Dragon Factor — expanded features
  • Commercial Platform — multi-cloud capabilities

Q2 Roadmap Goals

Time Products — Marketplace listing

Captured Time Lending Contracts (CTLC) payments have now been further developed to payout rewards automatically at midnight GMT, after the end of your contract.

Marketplace — vendor enrollment features

This quarter the marketplace turned out to be less of a priority due to developing business opportunities. And on top of that, the team had their recent switch to Kubernetes to further enhance their blockchain platform for developers and customers building on Dragonchain.

Dragon Den — launch

Dragon Den further expanded the beta and had major updates in both the frontend and backend. The blue paper for Dragon Den has also been updated with new information. Development of their crypto aware social platform is ongoing and expected to be spun off and launched this year.

A Lair ownership process is expected to roll out soon to beta participants, which will allow users to propose and own Lairs in various subject areas.

Patent — licensing standardization

Dragonchain loyalty on blockchain systems patent was granted and will be included in the process of further standardizing their licenses. They are in legal review for patent licensing which is expected to be integrated into the Tokenized Micro-license itself.

Commercial Platform — expanded dashboard features

Extended account services have been released. Work on the console is ongoing and will undergo a full transformation within 8 weeks.

Privacy Products and Dragon Factor — expanded features

Dragonchain showcased the Dragon Factor Consent Demo at an invite-only event on June 13th in Napa, CA. The team now has integration of biometric factors. In addition, they have partnerships lined up for further adoption of Dragon Factor.

Commercial Platform — multi-cloud capabilities

Together with their on-premises solution, the team is able to deliver Dragonchain to multiple clouds and data centers. Check out Dean’s demo about Blockchain as a Service at scale for Enterprises.
