ENIGMA: The Discovery networked testnet in December 2019

Enigma completed the very first open community call, featuring the members of the Enigma core team as well as some of the Enigma Collective, representing its global community. The team shared critical project updates and take questions from everyone who joined the live stream in real-time.
The Discovery networked testnet will be deployed in December 2019. This is the first deployment of several iterations of testnet before mainnet.
More hackathons are expected in 2020, as well as more application development from the Enigma team.
Network rewards on Enigma network will begin at 1,500,000 ENG for the first year the mainnet is in operation and decrease 20% year-over-year thereafter.

The thirty-third episode of Decentralize This!, Enigma’s podcast hosted by Tor Bair, featured John Wolpert. John currently works at ConsenSys on the Web3Studio team, helping drive adoption of the decentralized web by identifying and building solutions using decentralized technologies. John has decades of entrepreneurial experience and previously co-founded IBM’s blockchain business unit as well as Hyperledger Fabric. He also currently helps lead the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance’s Mainnet Working Group, where Enigma is a contributing member.
