Human nodes and friends! The past two weeks have been a remarkable journey filled with great progress and achievements. Today, we are here to unveil some exciting news and developments that will leave you amazed.
Invitations for the Humanode EVM Testnet “Israfel” have been sent. There were 500+ applications for participating in the first closed beta testing, and roughly 100 invitations were sent out for the first wave. For those of you who didn’t receive the invitation, fret not. The team expects to move to open beta in one to two weeks. Once the team concludes this round of closed testing, they will be opening the doors to invite everyone to the testnet in the very near future. Moreover, the team announced the dates for the Humanode Conference 2023. This year HumanodeCon will be held from September 1st to September 2nd, for 2 days of panel discussions, special presentations, tutorials, guest speakers, and some fun in general! The majority of the conference will be held online (venue to be announced at a later date), and the sign-up process will begin later this month.
As you all know, the Humanode team has recently performed a server reboot for BotBasher. This means it’s time to reverify your accounts to regain your Verified Human role on Discord. Humanode EVM Testnet “Israfel”
🔺The private testing of the EVM Testnet is currently ongoing
Currently, the testing has introduced:
- A completely independent EVM accounts system in a separate domain from the native accounts including its own balance domain.
- Currently, it is not possible to do general EVM-related operations from native accounts like `call`, `create` and `withdraw`. However, swap operations are allowed to transfer some tokens from native balances to EVM balances.
- `EVM tokens to native` operation is possible as well via currency swap precompile.
- As a result, the team has tested all tokens-related operations in different domains, proper fee calculation and distribution to particular pot accounts, valid total issuance, swap call, and swap precompile.
- Additionally, basic EVM-related operations have been tested as well like smart contracts deployment and tokens transfers, utilizing famous tools like Metamask wallet and Remix IDE.

Humanode Bot Basher
BotBasher for Discord
Testers can verify themselves as unique living human beings, and enter the Sybil-resistant channels on the Humanode Discord server.
BotBasher for Discord is an application that has been created utilizing the Humanode private biometric verification technology, allowing Discord users to verify that their account is owned by a unique living human being, and Discord servers to create Sybil-resistant channels, by limiting specified channels to verified human beings only. As the BotBasher for Discord works alongside other popular Discord applications, the servers will be able to provide their users with Sybil-resistant voting (1 user, 1 vote), Sybil-resistant whitelisting, Sybil-resistant airdrops, NFT mints, and more!
As the technology behind the application is the Humanode crypto-biometric technology, the users are able to conduct private and secure uniqueness and liveness checks over anonymized data, without revealing any private information or fear of having their biometric data hacked.
As a note of caution, one user is only able to create one bio-authentication, meaning that the user can only tie one account to their physical identity, limiting their access to the BotBasher-enabled Sybil-resistant channels (or servers) to that verified account.
Once an account has been bio-authenticated and receives the role of a Verified Human, they will be able to utilize that verification for all servers that are BotBasher enabled.

🏆 Top 10 Sprinters: When a sprint ends, they will give a shoutout to the top 10 players who scored the most experience points (XP).
🏆 Monthly Retroactive Rewards: At the end of each month the team will retroactively reward the top 20 XP gainers on the Zealy Questboard. Consistency is key! The first monthly snapshot will take place on June 19th!
Whether you aim to secure a top spot in the sprint rankings or strive for monthly recognition, every quest you finish and every XP you earn brings you closer to the prize. The team announced the dates for the Humanode Conference 2023.
The HumanodeCon `23 will be held from September 1st to September 2nd, for 2 days of panel discussions, special presentations, tutorials, guest speakers, and some fun in general!
The majority of the conference will be held online (venue to be announced at a later date), and the sign-up process will begin later this month.
In addition to the online conference, the Humanode team will also be gathering together from around the globe to meet up in Batumi, Georgia. So, if you happen to be a short hop away from Georgia (or if you don’t mind flying across the globe, like the team members), the team plans to rent out a venue for some great food, drink, music, and camaraderie, and you are welcome to join the fun too!
With Humanode EVM around the corner, some new breakthroughs concerning Homomorphic Encryption and Humanode Bio-Authorization, and many new partnerships being built with various Web3 projects and communities, this is a conference that you will not want to miss.
