  • Optimism Bedrock upgrade live, gas fees over 40% lower via data compression and ETH native representation.
  • To commemorate this momentous historic and Optimistic occasion, the team released an open-edition NFT with manifoldxyz. Minting for the Bedrock NFT will close on Friday, June 16th at 11:59 PM UTC.
  • OptimismGov released a great intro to Season 4 of Optimism Governance going over how to apply for a grant, propose a Token House Mission, take on a Foundation Mission, and co-grant alongside Optimism Grants.
  • RFP to build zk validity prover for OP Stack.

Loopring

  • Loopring + Taiko: Ready Layer 3: The Loopring team announced that they will be rolling out the first implementation of Loopring Layer 3 on top of Taiko, an Ethereum Type-1 zkEVM, as well as integrating their new A3 testnet into the Loopring Smart Wallet — users can now complete tasks + get rewarded with participation NFTs.

Scroll

  • On the technical front, the Scroll team completed the refactor of both the RLP and transaction circuits. This means that the Scroll zkEVM now supports all types of Ethereum mainnet transactions.
  • The infrastructure team made some improvements to http://scroll.io to streamline the site and web app performance.
  • The Scroll team also attended EthPrague conference.
