🚀Live on Arbitrum:

  • Deposits of Native $USDC via Arbitrum have just been enabled on the Crypto.com App.
  • Exciting to see Syndr as the first DeFi Orbit Chain in the ecosystem.
  • Farcana announced that their play-test event is live on Arbitrum Nova.

  • Announcing RetroPGF Round 3: This fall, 30M OP will be distributed to builders, creators, and educators who have provided a positive impact on the Optimism Collective.
  • To commemorate the announcement of RetroPGF Round 3 the team released an open-edition NFT with the help of Decent.xyz.
  • OP Labs published a dev blog post on why more and more projects are choosing to use the modular, Ethereum equivalent, open-source, and MIT-licensed OP Stack codebase.
  • The team released the first thread of a series diving deep into lalalavendr’s comprehensive and open-source DAO research compiled in the Collective DAO Archives.
  • Optimistic Erigon client supports Optimism mainnet.

  • Loopring + Taiko: Ready Layer 3: The team will be rolling out the first implementation of Loopring Layer 3 on top of Taiko, an Ethereum Type-1 zkEVM, as well as integrating their new A3 testnet into the Loopring Smart Wallet — users can now complete tasks + get rewarded with participation NFTs.

Scroll

  • Scroll hosted its very first Hackathon Recap call.
  • On the technical front, the team parallelized the witness assignment for the circuit row level in some of the zkEVM subcircuits. This upgrade will drastically improve Scroll’s prover efficiency, effectively halving the overall proving time down to approximately 10 minutes.
  • They hosted the third community call for 2023.
