Ant vs Human vs AI

So let’s say you have planned to build a house and you found a nice piece of land, perfect for your dream place. You check it out and find few trees and some ant nests, without any thought you start to clean the place out to lay the foundation for your new home. But the trees and ants over there, spent decades of their lives building something that you choose to destroy without a second of thought.

So what is the reason for intelligent beings to behave in such way , disrespecting its evolutionary ancestor’s generations of work without a single thought. Is it because we are intellectually advanced and our ability to create and destroy, makes them mere ants. We do know our existence today is because of billions of years of effort put together by these mere plants and animals. We labelled worshipping them as superstition ,and set their values aside so that intelligence can finally unleash its true potential.

So what will be the place of human beings in the world of super intelligent beings, be it biological or mechanical, which could possibly play with stars and planets like mere toys. Will these scale of intelligence worship us as gods for creating them or will it be the story of ants and humans.

Intelligence can never be a good servant and it has proven to be a bad master.
