Empowering the web3 gaming ecosystem: Revolutionizing infrastructure and driving our new gaming vision
Web3 gaming is still in its infancy, but it’s set to take some major leaps forward in 2023.
New games will take center stage this year — complex, engaging, and fun games that will rival traditional counterparts (have you seen Parallel’s Early Access trailer?). Out with the mindless clicking games that have thus far defined “play-to-earn”.
We’re here to support and encourage the onslaught of traditional gamers who’ll soon discover the new generation of web3 games, the power of asset ownership, earning based on skill, and decentralized competition. We’ll unleash their potential to play and earn by lending our collection of assets. For free.
But this expanding frontier still lacks some basic, core elements for massive scale. So while we’re building systems to onboard and equip the players we’ll support, we’ll also share the tools and infrastructure for other guilds and DAOs to support their own gaming communities.
We’re here to drive the ecosystem forward, together, for all players, protocols, and guilds. And in turn, this will bring our refreshed gaming vision to life.
How we’re advancing web3 gaming infrastructure
Building a foundation for thriving guilds
By now, you may be familiar with our plans to lend playable assets to gamers, for free, using their gaming reputation as a currency and allowing them to maximize their earnings from the web3 games we support.
As we’ve been building this player management system for ourselves, it’s become apparent that nothing quite like it exists today. Most web3 guilds still manage their players and assets through Discord, spreadsheets, or other cumbersome methods.
So, we’re going to offer our system as a product to other guilds, DAOs, and collectors, to manage the lending of their own assets to gamers.
They’ll be able to use our product to create composable Guild ID NFTs with levels and achievements, a guild-specific experience points (XP) token, an integration into the games they support, a method of pooling playable assets with other holders, and most importantly, a way of lending out these assets to gamers. All of these solutions will be configurable to the guild's requirements. In return, we’ll collect a small percentage of their revenues from using the system.
As of today, we have exposure to three game ecosystems (Parallel, The Watch and ARBO). By offering this guild management system, we can infinitely expand our exposure to other games, while providing a solution with the potential to improve all existing web3 guilds and encourage new ones to take shape.
And we expect you’ll see this in action before we use it for Parallel, The Watch and ARBO (which haven’t launched yet).
A platform to ignite competition
Through our partnership with Stadium and BLVKHVND, we’re blazing the path of competitive web3 gaming.
Stadium’s league and tournament platform (which recently launched ) provides the infrastructure to help traditional and web3 gamers and teams gather and compete in organized and funded leagues and tournaments, organized by anybody, for transparent on-chain prize pools that are immediately payable.
Through our joint venture with BLVKHVND, we intend to run the Parallel Global Series — a flagship competitive league for Parallel (and events for other Web3 games we’re invested in).
Again, this infrastructure benefits the entire web3 gaming ecosystem. Our guild management system will integrate with STADIUM to provide a frictionless experience for anybody looking to compete in web3 games without committing upfront capital.
The hub for web3 gaming
With our recent acquisition of The Priming, we’ll aggregate and integrate everything web3 gamers need in one place, from asset management, gameplay data/statistics, earnings, media/content, a gateway to financial services and more!
This provides incredible potential to connect, onboard, and help millions of users discover top web3 games, expand our brand, and further the reach of platforms, tools, and protocols we support (and those that use our infrastructure, e.g. other guilds) in the journey to move the Web3 gaming ecosystem forward.

Our solutions will provide something for everyone
Let’s take a look at how the many different types of gamers can benefit from what we’re building.
Professionals
Initially, we had envisioned curating a ParagonsPRO competitive team. However, as we’ve been developing our infrastructure and partnerships, it’s become clear that we don’t need to weigh our success on having one horse in the race if we’re the venue.
Rather, we want to ignite the competitive landscape, enabling professionals and teams throughout the entire ecosystem to be able to play on platforms we support, to use our assets at no cost, and to benefit from the content and media attention that our infrastructure and partners can provide.
The Parallel Global Series will be one of the first examples of our support for professional players — a league we’re developing (with Stadium) featuring circuits, competitions and tournaments culminating in a World Championship event. We expect that this series will not only support professionals from rival guilds and teams—it will create them.
And through a comprehensive media and content program to support events like this, our joint venture with BLVKHVND will captivate viewers and sponsors alike, further igniting the competitive landscape.
Competitors and grinders
Outside of the Pro circuits we sponsor, we’ll continue to offer the best opportunities for skilled players to play, win, and earn with us. Through our Paragons player management system, we’re building an objective solution that aligns lending of our assets to desired behavioural outcomes-prioritizing lending to players who show commitment, potential, skill, results and who put the assets to the most optimal use.
Those who build their XP with us and “rank up” will be given greater opportunities to earn (e.g. by borrowing better cards, access to more bespoke education and coaching).
And we’ll run our own, sponsored Paragons leaderboards to encourage internal competition within our ranks, build community, and battle for entrance into qualifiers and challenger brackets of Pro circuits (see above).
And of course, we’ll also highlight opportunities to play games with other guilds that build atop our infrastructure, helping create additional flow to other games people find interesting.
Casual players
Our player management system provides opportunities for anybody to play and earn with us — even the most casual players. All you need is to mint a free Player ID card to get started, which will allow casual players to borrow from our starter pools (yes, for free) and start building up their XP.
As XP is used as a currency to borrow cards, winning allows players to borrow better cards, more frequently. For those who have trouble winning ANY games, it just means their opportunities to borrow will be more limited and time-bound.
Casual players can compete in our guild leaderboard challenges, and even in competitions like the Battle Tower, where they’d have opportunities to face off against better ranked players and really show what they’re made of.
Viewers
Through our joint venture with BLVKHVND we’ll ignite the web3 Esports scene through content, media, events, streams, educational materials, entertainment, and more.
Initially, this venture will support STADIUM, BLVKHVND and ParagonsDAO — but it’ll also highlight programming from other organizations, teams and guilds looking for greater exposure, and even match content creators with organizations seeking topical content, production, and expertise. We’ll highlight everything that is produced, coordinated, or licensed through this entity on our web3 gaming hub (envisioned above).
All of which moves the entire web3 gaming ecosystem forward.
Not only will we lend cards (and collect a rake on their earnings) — we’re creating an entire infrastructure that the web3 gaming ecosystem can build on top of. And we think that should give our community many reasons to be excited!
