Hyderabad — Hyderabad in 4 minutes.

Just another story of a solo trip to Hyderabad.

Of course yes, I took this picture from Charminar.

It wasn’t a very well planned trip, it wasn’t even a partially planned trip like my first one (read my first one here). But I had an event to attend, HDCON 2018.

4 days trip

On 2nd evening I reached Hyderabad Airport fearing that Hyderabad would be kinda similar to New Delhi. I was wrong, Hyderabad has everything pretty organised for travellers and commuters.

The navigation from places to places and even local bus ticket booking facility inside the airport and almost everything was just perfect. Telangana government has taken serious care to travellers and the city itself.

The people are nice, they don’t try to cheat you often. They respect the travellers and help us understand more about Hyderabad and most importantly, they are the ones who keep the secret.

They know hotels with amazing biriyani. 😅

Gachibowli was the stop!

I took my bus to gachibowli (precisely hitec city) where Google has its office with several other multi nationals. The city is just beautiful, amazing roads, a lot of stores around, malls, hotels everything was just perfect.

Basically I’m a city guy and I love exploring cities and malls around me, and I should accept that gachibowli is a beautiful place to be.

On 3rd, I had this event called HDCON, where they talk about hosting, domain flipping, blogging and those stuff I do to make a living online. You can read about it here.

No, I didn’t take this picture.

It was a great oppurtunity to meet with some brilliant minds like Aishwin Vikhona (the millionaire domain investor), amazing Malik from Google, ICCAN head etc.

There are like serious amount of career opportunities within the hosting, domain and blogging industry, and I’m so happy to see them growing by time.

Ramoji Film City

I should accept the fact that Ramoji film city is awesome for film enthusiasts, but for me it’s like 3/5, because I spent all my day there looking sets. It’s beautiful work, they’ve done serious hard work and creativity inside, but you should have some love to cinema.

There is everything inside Ramoji, it’s like a different place where you can see almost everything including a hospital, apartments, Mughal gardens, Japan, London streets, Airports and even prisons. It’s the one stop solution for all movie enthusiasts, it’s a must visit for them.

Taken by me, Ramoji Film City (Eureka)

I really enjoyed my time at Gachibowli walking around the streets, visiting those malls and analysing the swiggy bags rushing around me.

Back to Hyderabad.

So Gachibowli is a part of Hyderabad, but there is around 20km from Gachibowli to Hyderabad.

I just enjoyed like anything when I was in Hyderabad. Each moment was beautiful for me, I went to this NTR gardens, Buddha statue, Snow World (not that good), Secunderabad Paradise hotel and I had this Hyderabadi biriyani at exactly 9:32PM.

Hyderabad is not big like New Delhi, but has everything. Especially the fly overs are dope, it’s 17–18 km long. They have given a lot of care to commuting and technology around the city. The city is perfectly fit for a tech guy.

The food

Holy christ, if you’re a foodie you shouldn’t miss Hyderabad. The biriyani from Paradise Hotel, the Rasamalai from Raddison. I was totally in love with hyderabadi food and it was like the best day of eating for me.

They have this Rasali Shavarma Special (it’s a must try from Gachibowli).

Finally I did spent all my time roaming around Hyderabad city meeting new people, analysing the lifestyle and working with the view of Charminar in front of me.

All these experiences are just calling me back, I’d surely love to be in Hyderabad for some more time. It was a beautiful trip without a doubt. Thanks to OYO and Uber for making my trip farrr more comfortable.
