Life is less complicated than a piece of art
As easy as a walk in the park.
People say life is complicated. But I don’t think it’s complicated enough to keep you in confusions, compared to an artwork which generates “why’s” like a pancake machine in a luxury hotel.
Just go inside a luxury hotel and you’ll notice a million things. In the toilet, you get to see a mirror to help you get a clear image of how you look.
But, why do they have the mirror all the way up to the roof?
It’s definitely not something that deserves a purpose, it’s something that deserves a clap (because it’s an art).
Ok, I totally accept the fact that your brain has already concluded the relationship of a male and a female standing on this picture. But, what If I tell you that they are total strangers and they’re just posing for the sake of a stock photo?
Yep, that’s a possibility. Just like that, they could be a very beautiful couple trying to have their private time while you’re sneaking into it.
Also a possibility.
Yes, the ability to predict or make a guess right from your perspective is a brilliant technology that we have inside our brain. They are completely experience driven which keeps on improving with experience.
Spent more time (experience) with your friend and make better predictions about him/her. You can be sure about an average probability (if at all that exists). These capabilities help us live better with comfort around us (which definitely makes our life easier).
I’m pretty sure that you’ve seen plenty of artworks similar to this one. In fact, we totally honor the work of artist, because it’s something that we don’t understand (some of you might understand).
But just like you make predictions or judgments about other human beings, you can’t make such predictions or even guesses by looking at this art. Because your brain has a very clear idea that even if you make a fair guess, you’re bound to be wrong. This painting was sold out for $70 million.
There are lots of “why’s” coming in and I clearly know that you attempted to understand the art several times (but failed miserably).
This is the exact point that I’m trying to make. If you’re still not clear about the idea of this article, let me give you a tip that will help you lead a better life.
Start learning about artworks, go deeper into everything that you see in a five-star hotel. Ask a lot of “why’s” to the artist or within your mind and find answers. Do this for 21 days and you’ll see that it’s too easy to live a life that makes a lot of sense.
Whenever you think of problems, think art!
