Eat — Sleep — Meet — Repeat!
I love meeting new people, let it be a janitor, a women, a cobbler, an entrepreneur or even a terrorist. I’m that type of guy who bursts out of ecstasy when I meet new kinda people.
I’m not a passionate traveller neither a wanderlust, but I do whatever it takes to meet new people and learn from them. The point is clear,
You gotta learn!
I read a lot of biographies and I’m a big fan of biopic movies (I never miss a single one). Usually these type of movies and books always pumps up the passion within us and inspires us to do something magical.
But you gotta understand the fact that you’re just listening to someones story in a biopic or a biography book, and we have approximately 7billion people on this planet that counts to a total of 7billion stories.
Don’t you wanna hear some?
Some even mocks me asking what am I gonna do with meeting a lot of people who are not related to my industry.
Cmon! get some logic out of this. You’re not Christian, I’m not a Hindu either, we are homo sapiens (that’s just our race). It’s there in our DNA to have a nomadic lifestyle and working together is nothing but truth!
You gotta stop running behind this bloody piece of paper. It’s just a fancy cotton paper with a photo of someone who achieved great things with respect (at least let’s try to be like him).
Making money and working with the people in my industry to make even more money sounds like running a rat race and ending up finding the cheese (not understanding the fact that you’re caught).
That’s not we want, at least that’s something I don’t fancy.
It doesn’t matter how sad you’re, how bad you’re, what problem you went through, a single quote from a famous being is all you need to get clarity within yourself and to make you feel better.
Didn’t you get it?
If a famous being has something to say that could change your life positively, then you gotta go out and listen to a lot of stories (because everybody has a quote to explain).
Even the poor, the beggars out there and every single human being (including you). Everyone has a story, everyone has learned life in their own manner, they have a wonderful story to explain and you want to hear.
You look good to me!
The one who is reading this, I badly wanted to hear your story, your quote your thought and everything so that I can improve myself with the bits and pieces I got from you.
Not really my story, but you can read something about me here
But don’t judge em’
Everybody has their own perspective in this world and everyone feels that they’re doing the right thing. You can go ask that prostitute out there or the terrorist out there, they got a story to explain.
Who knows, maybe you’ll get to join them after hearing their story.
No matter how good you’re at judging, there is a very high chance that you’re bound to be wrong, so stop judging their story from your perspective, just listen, learn and keep your mind open to everything and anything.
Take the ones you like, leave the part you hate (because you’ve the right).
I’m not asking you to go travel the world, meet people and live the life you want without giving a shit about what other people think (in fact that’s something I wanted to convey), but I’m asking you to meet new people.
May be not your industry, maybe a janitor nearby, maybe someone you always wanted to talk with. There is nothing you could lose, but the gains are amazing. In fact there are some communities in India where you can go meet a lot of people, tell your story and listen to theirs.
You’ll see the change, or else you’re obviously not homo sapiens.
