Open the capsule to see what’s inside.
There is a beauty hidden in every song that we love. No matter what, we only listen to the kind of music we love, the kind of musical pattern that we get addicted to and the vibe we are used to. Engineering of a beautiful capsule happens with the vibrations of music that your memories radiate.
You might have heard that one song like a 100 times after breaking up with your ex. There are songs for every occasion, mostly in our life moments.
You already have a song which will take you through your childhood, your time spent with your ex (which you definitely don’t want to play it even if it has won the academy awards) and even for your business that could potentially take you through a nostalgic path.
You can’t create a capsule right now or tomorrow, it’s an automatic happening with the support of your subconscious mind. The beauty of the capsule is when you hear it after a few years.
You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life. — Steve Jobs
There are 3 tips to remember which will definitely help you optimize your music — memory connection.
- Don’t try to engineer your capsule — When you figure out the undeniable fact that your memories are capsuled inside a song, you’ll definitely give it a try to engineer the right memory into the right musical capsule.
Trust me, that never works! Understand the fact that once you decide to engineer your memories into music with your conscious mind, you’ll end up remembering “the effort of engineering” when you hear the song after a few years, not your memories (read that again).
That will kill the beauty of the capsule because it’s a natural happening and you should never disturb any natural happenings on the cosmos.
2. Go back and listen to your favorites — This is one major thing that has resulted in a lot of positiveness on me. I spent time alone listening to very old songs that I used to listen at times.
There were moments I listen to a certain song that I used to hear when I was having my learning sessions at my painting class, it’s really beautiful when I listen to that right now. It takes me through all kinds of memories and makes me feel like grabbing a pair of brush and a few watercolors.
3. Go through the beautiful rough music — You can’t always listen to the songs that trigger positive nostalgic memories. The best thing you can do to yourself is listening to the beautiful songs that you used to listen while breaking up with your ex or something similar.
Change is hard at first, Messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end. — Robin Sharma
Go through that rough weather, it’s a bit hard listening for the first 15 seconds, then it gets messier when you reach the 2nd minute and it becomes gorgeous from the 3rd minute.
Maybe you’d feel like calling her or him to say some good words, it could keep a distant yet healthy relationship.
You never know what’s coming, just keep the curiosity within yourself and explore your highest level, because what you’re searching outside is already inside.
