This time, it was serious. Sujith Bhakthan from Tech Travel Eat (I owe you a link bro) posted a video about scuba diving on his Youtube channel and I suddenly got a call from my friend Risal.
Bro, let’s go dive.
That was it, we booked our slots at Kovalam Beach which is located at Thiruvananthapuram district (Kerala) and we took a midnight drive straight to Kovalam. It was a bit nervy at the beginning, but we were much comfortable with the treatment.
after making the payment, they called us for a theory and practical session which is damn necessary to protect yourself from getting into trouble under the sea. A professional scuba diver may go upto 160ft under the sea, but a beginner (like me) is restricted to 26 feet, due to safety reasons.
Obviously yes, because you’ve to sign with legal papers claiming that you’re sole responsible for any troubles happening under water while diving and if you’re dead, you’re dead. It’s that simple.
You are kinda safe! I’m saying this from the experience I had, because they have almost everything set. The diving equipments, oxygen support, extended oxygen cable for buddy diver, quick life jacket deployer and few other control options are also available.
You cannot do this alone, you’ll be provided with a professional diving instructor who will take you the depth of the sea and help you explore the marine life.
It was beautiful
That video tells you everything. It was simply beautiful under water, especially the tranquility. You don’t feel anything, you don’t even know you exist, you simply feel your movement without a support. You’re free and your mind is totally at rest with lots of peaceful electrical impulses.
Unless the shark comes!
Saluting a Torpedo Ray
Torpedo Ray is a fish which is commonly found in Kovalam beach, those professional divers claimed that it’s something you don’t usually see in other beaches. Anyways I got the opportunity to see one, it was beautiful, the way it swims was extraordinary. I was too much attracted by the way how it’s making human beings feel wow, and hence, I automatically gave it a salute.
It was a really bad
Meeting watch straps and plastic materials inside the ocean. The ocean is kind of polluted even at 26ft depth. It’s our responsibility to not to pollute the ocean with plastic and man made craps. These marine species cannot talk, but they do suffer because of these types of disposals. I was glad to know that these professional divers from Bond Safari are giving too much care for the marine life. They explore with total care and we should learn from them.
That was it, we enjoyed our time and we keep on moving to the next (adventure). If you really wanted to try this or got doubts regarding the health criteria, give me a call +91 86065 36820 and I’ll be able to help you with pleasure. They gave us some coupons too, may be I could give you one.
