TEDx Thiruvananthapuram — It was interestingly beautiful.

I was curious, I couldn’t resist myself from purchasing the tickets of my first TED event ever. It’s wasn’t actually an official TED event, but a TEDx event which is being licensed under TED.

X = Independently organised TED event.

Curiosity

I’m a very big fan of TED. I couldn’t just imagine a world without TED talks and free educational resources from TED, I watch at least 2–5 TED every week and I even watch few talks again and again.

It was my dream to attend a TED event, but that’s not completely done yet.

because it was a TEDx event with superb speakers (most of them) and I just loved every moment of that day.

→ To all those fellas who asked me how come different life experiences from different people help you grow. Please watch TED talks at least once in your lifetime and that’s my fair reply.

Talks

I got something more than what I expected, I never thought that these line up of speakers had this much to pull off my brain. Every talk was beautiful (except few theoretical bye-hearts), every experience was beautiful and those funny moments were totally interesting.

Personally, I loved talks from Dr. Gangadharan, Prashanth Nair (IAS), C. Unnikrishnan and few others like Rachel Thomas. They opened my eyes and changed my thought process in a beautiful way.

Networking

Networking break was total fun. I was flying over there, I was so happy and I was on air (in fact I forgot to have my tea). I was smiling at everyone, I was talking with a lot of like minded people like Prashanth Kallingal (he gave some real good company), Vaishnavi Meena (I remember that smile, girl), and few other boys gave some beautiful company.

They made it.

I’d happily accept the fact that they as a team TEDx Thiruvananthapuram (including all the volunteers) conducted the event so professionally with the support from Infosys.

The hall was beautiful, the food was great, the timing was perfect, the musical treat from Ananthapuri Ananthakrishnan was just insane, that dance performance from DR CREW was crazy! Especially they welcomed great minds to talk in Malayalam too. Loved it.

TEDx was great, and I’m getting ready for an official TED event. Hopefully sooner from unbelievable speakers. It was fun, why not give it a try next year?

Stand up for your rights! Reema Kallingal from TEDx.
