Paras Lunar New Year

Celebrate the year with a bang!

Lunar New Year has always been regarded as the day of festivities and gifts. Therefore, as a celebration to the day, Paras and NEAR Guilds plan to create Paras Lunar New Year. It is an event in which Artists in Paras will release several NFT art cards regarding the spirit of the Lunar New Year.

Paras and NEAR guilds will work with several artists to release Lunar New Year collections in Paras. Through this effort, we hope that we can grow the Paras and NEAR community altogether. We also believe that collaboration with our artists for a big event like this will be fruitful for artists and collectors. Not only that, but we also plan to grant great prizes for you.

Lunar Blessings

The event will be open for every artist to pitch in. Artists, get inspired!

• Artists must create a new Lunar 21 — themed collection, e.g “Lunar 21 — Menshen” or “Lunar 21 — Year of the Ox”, etc. You can write anything for your card name, just make sure it is part of your Lunar 21 — themed collection.
• Artists can start minting their Lunar 21 collection from 5th of February 2021 00.00 AM Beijing time.
• The cards must be priced at least 1N
• Each artist can release up to 20 pieces of each card (maximum supply per card).
• Paras & NEAR team will buy a total of 50 cards from the artists based on a combination of factors: number of shares on social media, number of views on Paras, and the price of the card (sorry folks! we have a limited budget)

There will be a lot of collections for you to choose from. Brace yourself!

Money Trees: Introducing Collector’s Red Packet

Collectors rejoice! The tree has blossomed and it bears red packets for you.

Collectors who buy cards from the Lunar New Year collection within the event timeline (5th of Feb 2021–19th of Feb 2021) are eligible for a collector’s red packet.

To qualify, the users must:

• Share their purchase from the Lunar New Year collection on social media and mention Paras/NEAR/NEAR’s regional guilds (NEAR China, NEAR Vietnam, etc).
• Collectors must submit proof of participation via this form.
• Have a .near account.
• Have made at least 1 transaction on Paras.

At the end of the event, some collectors will be selected and receive some prizes. On 28th February, the Paras team will compile the records of participation and distribute the following prizes:

• The Grand Prize will only be bestowed upon 3 lucky collectors of the event. May the gift of 100N for each of you bless your days.
• The NFT Prize will be given to 50 lucky collectors who participated in the event. May this special Lunar New Year edition NFT be your next stepping stone.
• The Participation Prize will be awarded to 150 lucky collectors as they have enjoyed the event as much as we have. May these 8N help you along your journey.
