📰 Blockchain Governance: Programming our Future. Fred Ehrsam, co-founder @ Coinbase, outlines some current approaches to network upgradeability, arguing governance is at the heart of the most important research problem in the space.

🌱 The creator of BitTorrent is launching a cryptocurrency. It’s more environment-friendly than Bitcoin, and Vitalik is interested in learning more about how it works.

📹 A comprehensive but gentle introduction to digital video. A “mini workshop for newcomers to video technology”, this jewel has simple vocabulary, lots of visual elements and hands-on examples.

🎵 How big is music on Youtube? Rasty Turek shows that 65% of music in Youtube never gets audio rights claimed or generate revenue. Even in the case of famously monetised songs, the rate of “non-detection” reaches up to 20% (e.g. Gangnam Style).
