Parcel is one man’s take on the world around us. Parcel is a nomadic office for film & architecture. We focus on programming human behaviour using architecture, since 2009. Here, you can find a series of example projects illustrating this programming. We are based at in Seattle, CDMX, Buenos Aires, Maastricht, Torino, Kaapstad, Tampere, Mumbai, Panjim, Bangalore, Manila, and Sydney.
‘Parcel’ can be ‘Parc El’. ‘Parc’ means ‘Park’ in French. ‘El’ means ‘The’ in Spanish. I am fascinated by these two cultures. So ‘El Parc’ means ‘The Park’. And in my belief people take walks in parks, and think about things. So at parcel I think about the way we parcel ourselves as a civilization. Civilization because that’s the core of architecture. That’s how it all fits in.
An index of our portfolio various
Films. — We film vlogs, videos, short films, one minute short videos, and lectures on YouTube. We use this format to document impromptu thoughts, ideas, and details. These often form a vent to our chaos. It’s fun, at the same time serious. Tune in for a completely uncensored, almost self-destructive records of our existence, and dilemmas.
Images. — We post imagery, grids, drawings, and architectural graphics to Instagram. Some of these images are created with Unsplash. Most of them are from our archive. The idea here was to document our works as part of a process to declutter our lives, and make things simpler in the scale that we operate.
