Check out NHSA’s newly released video on Parent Gauge, a valid and reliable web-based tool Head Start programs can use to measure the parent experience and the impact of your family engagement efforts. The video features an interview with Suzanne Prescott, who is the Early Childhood Programs Director for Butler County Educational Service Center in Ohio and enthusiastic Parent Gauge user.

Suzanne and her program have been champions of Parent Gauge and, in this video, she highlights a few of the great things Parent Gauge has brought to Butler County:

1. A reliable, user-friendly tool that builds a dual approach with children and parents
2. A time-sensitive personal interview with parents that allows for immediate goal-setting
3. An opportunity to learn directly from parents how you’re doing as a program and how they’re doing as parents
