“Trailblaze Your Happiness”
How will you achieve your happiness in life? Julie Oberweis, a mother of 5 and a Stanford Sloan graduate, faced this very question after the birth of her first child. Should she go back to work or stay home with her baby daughter? Well, after trying combinations of the two options, she decided that enough was enough. Discontent with the choice between work and motherhood, she decided that she needed to blaze her own trail.
This led her to create her own company with her husband, allowing her to take control of her home and work life. In a LOWkeynote at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, Julie shared her story of how she’s navigated her strong career ambitions with her maternal instinct.
With five children, Julie’s family already has more people in it than most small businesses.
Congratulations, Julie!
