Hello reader, this is the first article I’m writing for the Parenting Diary publication, and I’m very thrilled. How about you? I guess you are a parent too, why would you read this article anyway? Of course, there is also a chance that you are not a parent but are expecting twins, so you want to learn some tips and tricks.
Well, I have to disappoint you, I don’t have them yet. I guess most of the tips won’t help that much, we have to be 100% dedicated and ready for those two little “beasts” to “take our lives”.
Here are some tips by the lucky parents of twins (not by me):
- Stock up on coffee like you’re preparing for the caffeinated apocalypse
- Practice your juggling skills — you’ll need them for diaper changes and feeding times
- Invest in a good quality stroller, preferably one with cup holders for your aforementioned coffee
- Master the art of telling your twins apart, or embrace the chaos and just guess — they’ll never know
- Prepare for unsolicited advice from strangers, and perfect your polite “thanks, but no thanks” face
- Learn to function on minimal sleep — it’s like training for an Olympic sport…
