What a year 2020 has been so far! From isolation to at-home schooling to wearing masks anytime we’re in a public space, we’ve all had to make some sacrifices. For many people this year will also mean cancelling Trick or Treating, which is a sad thought for many families. If you enjoy Halloween festivities, check out these alternative ideas listed below. Your family can continue to stay safe while you create new fun or spooky traditions this year!

Ideas for a Fun Halloween for 2020:

  • Have a dance party with spooky music. (Make your party more exciting by inviting your friends and family to join you over video chat.) Here is a list of kid-friendly spooky songs from Good House Keeping to add to your playlist.
  • Candy hunt in the dark. Hide candy either in your backyard or in different rooms in your home. Turn off the lights and give your child a flashlight or glow stick to help them on their candy search.
