I’m the Chef Too: Bagel Making Kit

The same people who hooked me up with the Mon Coeur capsule collection also hooked me up with a company called I’m the Chef Too, which makes baking adventure kits that blend the deliciousness of food with the creativity of art and the education of STEM all into one fun edible craft!
They sent me the Bustling City Bagels kit, which brings in the characters of the movie Elemental with food coloring added to the bagel dough. I actually ended up with two kits, though I’m not sure how, but that worked to our benefit. Each kit makes 4 bagels, and I had a houseful that night — eight people, counting the grandbaby!
I put off making this kit with my granddaughter for a few days. I wanted everyone in the house to enjoy a fresh bagel. But my son goes to work super early during the week and I like to sleep in on the weekends, so finding a time where I could take my time with the granddaughter and still have fresh bagels ready in time for breakfast just wasn’t working.
Then, I had a craving for corned beef hash. And since I go to the gym in the morning, that wasn’t going to happen for breakfast either. So that’s when it hit me — breakfast for dinner! Breakfast for dinner was the ideal way to ensure everyone got to have a fresh bagel without having to get up at the crack of dawn.
